Hotel 71

Challenge:

Hotel 71 requested stylish marketing materials, a suite of items that included:

  • A point-of-sale piece to educate new hotel guests who typically use online travel portals — such as Orbitz.com — about the advantages of booking directly their website to obtain the best deals
  • A value-added-offer piece that would encourage repeat business from current guests, in addition to new business
  • An attention-grabbing tradeshow booth that would allow them to make an impact at industry shows.

Solution:

Biersma Creative designed and produced a distinctive guestroom keycard-envelope containing information on how customers can benefit from Hotel 71’s money-saving deals, given to hotel guests upon check-in. The piece is original and inventive, yet coordinates well with their existing check-in materials.

Offering a clever take on the typical coupon book, we created a witty and evocative series of upgrade vouchers housed in a tin container with Hotel 71’s logo embossed on the lid. This high-end, edgy design fits wonderfully with Hotel 71’s existing collateral.

We created a visually striking tradeshow booth that elicited the urban vibe Hotel 71 sought to bring out at travel and hospitality shows. We used modern, panoramic photographic elements to convey the metropolitan image the hotel exemplifies, and to showcase the hotel’s best feature – its expansive view of the Chicago River and the majestic skyscrapers that line it.

What was their RODIâ„¢?

Hotel 71 realized a set of marketing materials as evocative of singular sophistication as the hotel itself, touchpoints that enticed prospective guests with a hint of the style of the property itself.

See the work!
